Happy St. Brigid’s Day

Brigid is called a Saint by some persons and a Goddess by others but however you wish to address her, she is much revered both in Ireland and around the world.

She is the Patron Saint of blacksmiths, boatmen, cattle farmers, dairy workers, Ireland, mariners, midwives, milkmaids, poultry farmers, poultry raisers, printing presses, sailors, scholars, travellers, and watermen. (source St. Brigid’s Day traditions (irishcentral.com)
